OUR TEAM
Gaston and Sulaiman have been close friends since their days as architectural students at London's Southbank University and have collaborated on many projects over the years.

Gaston McKenzie, our Principal, is an architect trained at The University of the South Bank, graduating with a BA and Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture in 1982 and a MSc in Architecture
at the University of London in 1984. He has undertaken projects in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Guadeloupe and St. Vincent and the Grenadines where his practise is currently based.
Gaston taught Architectural Design over a 20 year period in Jamaica. His interest in the relevance of socio-economic and political context in our built environment sometimes makes him a boring guest at dinner parties.
Not so with his art, as he is a keen watercolour artist, and has exhibited in Jamaica and the United States. A devoted Urban Sketcher you'll find him, sketchbook in hand wherever he travels. Now he has his electronic Piano at home he can continue to pretend he's a Jazz pianist. His knowledge of Jazz, R&B & Reggae is legendary.

Sulaiman Lamin, our Lead Architect, has 40 years of experience in in Guadeloupe, Sierra Leone and the UK.
He is registered as an RIBA Architect in the UK and France. He also designs projects in Africa. He has an impressive portfolio of projects in Guadeloupe and Sierra Leone.
He designs and makes his own furniture with wonderful African flare.
An avid reader, he continues his research into Architectural History and its impact on current design trends.
